Much has been made to its unveiling of a production version, but Rolls-Royce said they will not produce. But the car was very easy to put into production as the work pieces. The company would not be profitable with the current Phantom sedan, and this model will help ensure the viability of the brand. This car has replaced the defunct Corniche (2000 - 2002), as was the same type of car and target the same market.
However, by 2005 it was confirmed that two-door four-seater convertible inspired by the 100EX and codenamed RR02, will enter production in 2007. Be slightly smaller than the 100EX. Power will come from the 6, 75 liters V12 engine, the new model will share with the Rolls-Royce Phantom.
